Each year nearly a 180 of the top artists from around the country are to show in the Brookside Art Annual. The artists are selected from 900 to 1200 applicants submitted each year. Our jurying process ensures top-quality artists, while being fair and keeping the show fresh. Artists are selected through a blind jury process, meaning only their work is seen and there are no favorites here. That also means, jurors don't know personal information that might influence selection. To ensure new perspectives from year to year, we utilize three new jurors from a pool of museum curators, gallery owners, professional artists and art educators. Our process yields an outstanding show with artists from across the country and at all stages of their careers.
