Shopping

The Historic Brookside Shops have been your neighborhood go-to and regional shopping, dining and event destination for over 100 years. Started in 1919, Brookside is Kansas City's first suburban shopping area. Fun fact - did you know the Brookside Shops were started before the Country Club Plaza? Over the last 100 years, Brookside has been home to hundreds of business owners that started their dreams and served thousands of customers with a friendly smile and the kind of customer service only a neighbor can provide.

Today, Brookside is home to over 80 shops, restaurants, and service providers, including some of your favorite locally-owned small businesses and restaurants. While you're at the show, we hope you'll take a moment to stroll through Brookside and make some more memories. We encourage you to stop in one of the many unique businesses to see artisan goods, knowledgeable shop owners, delicious food and drinks, locally-sourced, handcrafted merchandise, and unique gifts you can't find just anywhere.
